Israel: Haifa Refineries Suffer Damage After Iranian Attack – Operations Halted

The Bazan Group announced today that the operations of its refineries in Haifa have been halted following yesterday’s (16/06/2025) attack by Iran, which caused significant damage to the power station and put the lives of three workers at risk. In an update to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange after the Iranian attack on Israel, it was reported that “the energy production station suffered major damages. Consequently, all refinery installations and subsidiaries have suspended their operations.” The Bazan Group stated that it is working together with the Israel Electric Corporation (IEC) to restore electricity to the Haifa refinery facilities.
