Israeli armed forces announced early Sunday (June 22, 2025) that they had carried out a new series of strikes in western Iran, shortly after Iran launched missiles targeting Israel. The Israeli military stated that its air force initiated attacks against military targets in western Iran. “This morning, we struck missile launchers ready to attack Israel, as well as Iranian soldiers,” the military announcement read on the tenth day of the conflict between Israel and Iran. Hours after American bombings, Israel retaliated by destroying eight ballistic missile launchers, including six prepared for immediate attacks. Last night’s strikes involved 20 fighter jets targeting dozens of Iranian military sites in central Iran. Additionally, Israel bombed two Iranian F-5 fighter jets at Dezful Airport in Iran. The Magen David Adom, Israel’s emergency medical service, reported treating and transporting 16 injured individuals following the missile attacks from Iran. Significant damage was observed in central Israel, particularly in Tel Aviv and Haifa, where buildings suffered severe structural damage. According to rescue workers, multi-story residential buildings were heavily damaged, with some collapsing entirely. Israeli police confirmed impacts in at least two locations: Haifa in the north and Nes Ziona south of Tel Aviv.
