Iran Vows ‘Even More Devastating Response’ to Israel, Says President Pesekian

Iran will deliver an ‘even more devastating response’ to the continuation of attacks by Israel, warned Iranian President Masoud Pesekian. “Our response to the ongoing attacks by the Zionist regime will be even more catastrophic,” Pesekian stated during a phone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron, as reported by the IRNA news agency regarding the conflict with Israel. During the same call, the Iranian president affirmed that Tehran would refuse to halt its nuclear activities under any circumstances. “We are ready to discuss and collaborate on building trust in the field of peaceful nuclear activities; however, we do not agree to reduce our nuclear activities to zero under any conditions,” Pesekian cautioned. Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron announced that he received a call from his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pesekian, and they agreed to accelerate negotiations between European powers and Iran concerning its controversial nuclear program. “I demand: Iran must never acquire nuclear weapons, and it is up to them to provide any assurance that their intentions are peaceful,” Macron stated. “I am convinced there is a way out of the war and avoidance of greater risks.”
