A journalist from Axios, citing an Israeli official, mentioned that Iran launched six missiles targeting US bases in Qatar. A source familiar with the situation told Sky News that Iranian missiles have targeted the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, a massive US military base that also hosts parts of the RAF. Reports indicate another missile was fired at a US base in Iraq, retaliating for Washington’s strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities last Saturday. Oil fields in southern Iraq were evacuated, seemingly anticipating an attack there. Earlier footage showed surface-to-air missiles from Al Udeid Air Base intercepting Iranian ballistic missiles over Doha, Qatar. The Qatari Ministry of Defense emphasized that its air defense successfully intercepted the missiles aimed at the US base. Sirens reportedly sounded in Kuwait and Bahrain, though no impacts have been confirmed yet.
