An administrator of the notorious Basij prison, which operates under Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps, was killed during alleged Israeli airstrikes in Tehran on Monday, according to Iranian media reports. “The head of the counter-espionage protection forces of Basij was killed in an attack by the Zionist regime,” reported Iran’s Fars News Agency, citing a statement from the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC). It is worth noting that on Monday afternoon, both the Basij headquarters and several other key locations were reportedly targeted.
