According to reports, the President of the Areios Pagos, Ioanna Klapa, issued a relevant directive regarding the Rhodes Construction case to the president of the Tripartite Council for the Supervision of Judicial Officers, Asimina Yphanti. Ioanna Klapa requested disciplinary oversight of the judicial authorities in Rhodes concerning this matter. The decision to release the defendants under restrictive conditions was made by the investigating judge and prosecutor, who determined that the prerequisites for temporary detention were not met. Neither the investigating judge nor the prosecutor found evidence of flight risk, the likelihood of committing similar offenses again, or attempts to conceal case details.
