“Inside Dior: Behind the Scenes”: New Documentary Series Premieres on ERT2

An exclusive look behind the scenes of the luxurious billion-dollar empire encompassing clothing, bags, makeup, and fragrances will be broadcast for the first time on ERT2. Viewers will follow the two episodes of the new revealing mini-series “Inside Dior.” The series will air on Monday, March 31, 2025, and Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 4:00 PM. This two-episode documentary series delves into one of the world’s most prestigious brands as it celebrates its 70th anniversary. It examines the past and present of the House of Dior and follows the arrival of its first female creative director. In February 1947, Christian Dior founded a house of haute couture that introduced his iconic ‘New Look’ and sparked a fashion revolution. Although the designer passed away just ten years later, the legacy he created has only grown stronger. In 2017, the House of Dior marked 70 years of presence. With unprecedented access to this legendary fashion house, viewers will learn more about its history and current state by observing preparations for an impressive exhibition at Blenheim Palace in the UK. In the second episode, for the first time in its seventy-year history, the House of Dior appoints a woman as artistic director—Maria Grazia Chiuri from Italy. We get behind-the-scenes access and watch the preparations for Maria Grazia’s debut collection for the renowned house during Paris Fashion Week. We also meet François Demachy, the ‘nose’ of Dior, and Peter Philips, the artistic director of makeup. Top fashion editors and stars like Kate Moss, Rihanna, and Natalie Portman attend to witness Maria Grazia’s premiere. Will she achieve success?
