With the flu season ready to be on the doorstep, the staff of the hospital, doctors and nurses, insisting not to be vaccinated while they should give a good example.
“It is unacceptable for our country to have the lowest rate of vaccination in healthcare personnel” indicate doctors.
Last year’s flu was aggressive, and the elements of the CDC for the year 2015-2016 have shown that:
Recorded 435 cases of flu, 480 of these νοσηλευτήκαν in the ICU and 197 people lost their lives. Average age of people νοσηλευτήκαν was 57 years.
The Panhellenic Medical Association estimates that if operated the 150 closed beds in the ICU then 4000 people could be treated annually and half of them to be saved!
