India and Pakistan Engage in Deadly Missile Exchange Amid Escalating Tensions

The Kashmir region remains a flashpoint as the conflict between India and Pakistan continues with mutual strikes on military bases. The Pakistani army claims to have destroyed India’s S-400 anti-aircraft defense system in the Andabour area of Punjab, targeted the missile storage facility at Beas, hit the Pathankot airport in Punjab, and struck the Udhampur airbase in Indian-administered Kashmir. G7 countries urged both nations to exercise maximum restraint amid this escalating crisis that has claimed over 50 civilian lives on both sides. The ongoing military escalation poses a serious threat to regional stability, prompting calls for direct dialogue to achieve a peaceful resolution.
