“Inadequate staffing an ambulance and a need for delivery of a new vehicle to the Health Center of Igoumenitsa”

The staffing of the ambulance vehicle of the Health Centre of Igoumenitsa with… skilled nursing staff as well as the delivery of another vehicle from the Health Region of Epirus in the Health Centre of Igoumenitsa calls for the B. Γιόγιακας with a question to the Minister of Health. The full text of the question is as follows:
To the Minister of Health
TOPIC: “Insufficient staffing an ambulance and a need for delivery of a new vehicle to the Health Center of Igoumenitsa”
With article 66, par. 15.3984/2011 (government GAZETTE 150/A/11) Hospitals and Health Centers are required to have under the coordinating responsibility of the E.K.A.B. and its annexes, ambulances, appropriately staffed and equipped, with a monthly program presented in the E.K.A.B. In practice, however, the provision of προσονοκομειακής care and medical evacuation of patients in Health Centers and other units of the network of Primary Health Care is facing significant shortages in crews of ambulance and vehicles.
Typical is the case of the Health Centre of Igoumenitsa, where ambulance drivers who are under the coordination of the E.K.A.B. serve incidents without the accompaniment of a specialized nurse, and is rarely accompanied by a doctor, when ambulances.K.A.B. staffed by a physician and skilled staff. This situation creates a de facto patients “two-speed” and poses a risk to effective and timely care διακομιζόμενων of the ambulances of the Health Centre of Igoumenitsa.
Necessary is also the equipment of the Health Centre with a new ambulance as well as all the events are served by just one vehicle 16 years of age, while the other Health Centre of the prefecture of Thesprotia Margariti has no ambulance. It is noted that under the contract signed last December by the ministry of Health for the supply of ambulance vehicles in Health Regions (MOFCOM) of the country, in the ULTRASONIC Continent is scheduled to be delivered 11 vehicles.
Having said that, will the Minister:
– What it intends to do for the implementation of the requirements of para. 15, article 66 of law.3984/2011 on the appropriate staffing and equipment of the ambulance of the Health Centers,
– If you have scheduled the delivery of a new ambulance, of the 11 that will be delivered to the SUPERMARKET Continent, Health Center of Igoumenitsa, and, if so, when.
