The great HIG for the “green” park in Aspropyrgos, with the works starting within the next 5 months, said Constantine Beatros, CEO of Inventio Edge, speaking at the 7th Conference of Infrastructure and Transport – ITC 2024, held since yesterday (17.9.2024) at the Athens Concert Hall – International Conference Center. The first of three licences for this investment has already been issued, with the procedures being matured to start construction sites within the next 5 months. As Mr.Betros revealed, the facilities of the country’s only “trimodal” park will have 18 m robotic warehouses, which will be the first of its kind and size in Greece. The building will be LEED Gold, while photovoltaic power of 25 MW will be installed for both self-consumption and the wider area, necessary for the logistics industry. A bridge will also be built linking the northern and southern parts of the park, so that there will be no traffic charge of the area. According to Mr.Betro, the company is in contact with various prospective tenants aimed at the maximum benefit for both the investor and the country itself. Referring to the part of “green” structures, Inventio Edge’s CEO said the company is preparing to enter the battery and hydrogen track thus targeting better terms of funding and greater capital adequacy. As he said, the “green” elements are now becoming mandatory for finding funding and developing modern buildings, whether in the tourism sector or logistics. He stressed that the dimension of participation in the social development of the wider region – which Inventio Edge reproduces – is of great importance to the company itself. “So a part of the speed, at which we implement the projects, includes this rewarding balance with the Municipal Authorities. We are particularly concerned about the well being of the local society where we are active,” he concluded.
