March 2017, i.e. in a little more than 100 days, is expected to have completed the construction of the new national road Corinth-Patras, greece.
Completed a safe route as the project is expected to contribute decisively to safe travel, replacing, in essence, a street of communication, which the previous decades had been described as “the road guillotine”. It is indicative of the increase of the degree of security, that even the construction period of the project have reduced traffic fatalities at a rate of 60%.
The project will be completed in the time provided for by the contractual obligations stated to the journalists who were given a tour of sections of construction sites between Kiato and Ryu, the ceo of “Olympia Street.E.” Panagiotis Παπανικόλας and the ceo of the company “Aktor” Dimitris Koutras.
Until the end of March the construction of the project will have been completed, except for some places where still there are complications either because of the parallel work with the railroad, either due to archaeological excavations, either remaining expropriations. In these points, with a total length of about nine kilometres, between Corinth and Patras (Derveni, Arches, ΑÏαχωβίτικα, Rio) traffic will be served through traffic arrangements (local detours or bottlenecks). In accordance, however, with the company, and in these sections the work will be completed by the autumn of 2017.
The overall progress of the construction of the Corinth-Patras at the end of November 2016 reaches 88%. Today, the Corinth -Patras is located six sites, acting in a total of 20 εÏγοταξιακÎÏ‚ zones, and these are employed over 3,000 workers.
The next immediate goal is the delivery into service of a still part of an integrated motorway, from Kiato – Xylokastro, with a length of 14 km.
The toll stations
The rates of toll, will be developed in the 11,50 euro, from 6,40 eur today. The under construction part of Corinth – Patras, drivers will be paid 6,40 euro for the three frontal toll stations.

3 side: N. Peramos, Ag. Theodori, Pachi
The integration will work:
1 still frontal in the olive Grove Aigialeia
6 side: Zevgolatio, Kiato, Derveni, Akrata, Kalavryta, ΑÏαχοβίτικα
