The well-known presenter and model spoke of her course on GNTM but also about the shocks, after the end of the first cycles of fashion reality. “I cannot attribute responsibility or show a situation. What I can say is – because I judge my own behavior from the outcome – that I was found by the evil witch, gave me the apple and I bit it. There’s my side, too. It’s not the no I didn’t say, but the fact that I didn’t speak loud when I had to because I was afraid,” Iliana Papageorgiou admitted. “We were many beautiful girls, but unfortunately this story is over. It became a major casting in Greece. The fact that GNTM came to have such an impact was because the people who chose us made a very beautiful story,” Iliana Papageorgiou added. She then spoke for the first time openly about the break in her relations with Elena Christopoulou and the interruption of their cooperation. In several parts of the discussion Iliana Papageorgiou failed to hide her emotion and was hardly trying to contain her feelings, describing what hurt her. “Many times sacred words such as mother, love, care, caring are used in order to put you into an emotional lethargy and this leads you to not knowing what is going on under your nose. But when you realize that under the cloak of love you were in a darkening regime, this is very difficult emotionally. So you understand how I can feel. I think it’s a cancellation, but there’s an end to cooperation because on the course of work some of my specialized associates changed, who obviously asked me for some information I was ignoring. I looked them up where I could find them, but I couldn’t get the information, and I made every effort. Because it was driven into the void, I had to end the partnership. I made every effort. We have known each other 14 years,” said Iliana Papageorgiou. “Whatever has happened, I step firmly on my feet and I do not stop seeing the future with optimism. I have already started to discuss partnerships, life goes on and I will not allow my best years to be lost from anything,” Iliana Papageorgiou added and then explained the professional relationship they had. “There are people who want to be everywhere whether they should or not. In my case, I haven’t figured out exactly what happened, but I will. I don’t want to discuss it any further,” he concluded. Iliana Papageorgiou received questions and answered about her personal life. “I want to believe that I have met my prince, of course it also depends on the princess how this fairy tale will evolve if she has a happy end,” she said. At another point he stressed that: “I have no regrets about jobs I have done, each project gave me something, I tried to take the good and learn.”
