An ’emergency session’ will be held tomorrow, Monday (23.6.25), at the headquarters of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna, following American strikes against three nuclear installations in Iran. “Given the urgent situation in Iran, I am convening an emergency meeting of the Board of Governors for tomorrow,” wrote IAEA Director Rafael Grossi on X today. It is noted that the IAEA Board of Governors includes 35 members. Meanwhile, Iran’s nuclear safety service assured early this morning that it had found no signs of radiation contamination at the three installations of its nuclear energy program that were hit by U.S. airstrikes earlier today. “No sign of contamination has been detected (…) There is therefore no risk to residents around the facilities” in Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan, reported the national center of the nuclear safety system, which administratively belongs to Iran’s atomic energy organization.
