Hyundai Santa Fe Named ‘Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year’

The Hyundai Santa Fe has been crowned ‘Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year’ by a vote from 82 female automotive journalists representing 55 countries across five continents. This announcement coincides with the week leading up to International Women’s Day on March 8th. Before the final vote, these journalists rigorously tested and evaluated dozens of models, having already named the MINI Cooper as the best city car, the KIA EV6 as the top Compact SUV, the Audi A6 e-tron as the best large sedan, the Hyundai Santa Fe as the premier large SUV, the Toyota Land Cruiser as the best 4×4, and the Porsche Panamera as the top performance vehicle. Marta Garcia, the executive president of WWCOTY, emphasized the importance of choosing the world’s best car, considering market characteristics, driving needs, purchasing power, geography, and consumer preferences. The Hyundai Santa Fe, measuring 4.8 meters in length, stood out for its pioneering design, hybrid engines, and capacity to accommodate up to seven passengers. Testimonials from global journalists highlighted its bold design, premium interior comfort, versatile seating options, excellent fuel economy, and advanced safety features.
