The incident happened in the district of Beyoglu in Istanbul on Saturday, as it transmits the Hurriyet, citing the news agency DoÄŸan.
The fire broke out on the top floor of the four-storey building and, according to the police, the children were locked inside the apartment because their mother was not in Istanbul and their father at work.
The point rushed fire engines and ambulances and police cars.
The bodies of three young children, aged 5,3 and 2 years old, were found in the same room.
Their father Ramazan Sahin and other relatives were informed, devastated by the terrible deaths of three children.
According to the report, Åžahin had sixteen children, of which the three who died were the smaller ones.
“We lost three kids here… their father had gone to work and their mother was in Mardin. The father had left the children alone in a room with a heating device and had locked the door. Probably this device, with some spark, was the cause of the fire. The children died when the room filled with flames, I’m sorry for the loss,” said the mayor of Beyoglu.
