A serious hit-and-run incident involving the dragging of three individuals, including minors, occurred at noon on Thursday (22.05.25). A 49-year-old driver was involved in the accident after running a red light, dragging and injuring three people before fleeing the scene. The perpetrator was later arrested by officers from the Piraeus Police Department. All events unfolded during midday. The 49-year-old driver was traveling along the intersection of Agiou Eleftheriou and Dodecanese streets in Kamini when, ignoring the traffic light, he struck a motorcyclist and two minor children. Subsequently, he abandoned the accident site. The injured were taken to the hospital, while charges for dangerous driving, hit-and-run, and bodily harm have been filed against the 49-year-old.
