Heraklion: Serious Car Accident in Messara Leaves Five Injured, Including Two Minors

A serious car accident occurred on Thursday evening (03/04/2025) when two vehicles collided with each other. The crash in Messara left five injured, including a mother and her two minor children aged 10 and 8 years old, according to patris. The accident happened at the Kastellianos Kampas when the two cars crashed under currently unknown circumstances. Emergency services rushed three ambulances and an EKAB doctor to the scene, initially transferring the victims to the Health Center for first aid. Due to the severity of their injuries, they were later transferred to Heraklion’s Venizelio Hospital. According to reports, one vehicle carried the mother, her two children, and the grandmother, with the 8-year-old boy being the most severely injured.
