Heraklion: Massive pothole on the road marked with cardboard

An incredible incident occurred on a road in Crete, where the asphalt has ‘opened up,’ creating a large and dangerous pothole. The pothole is located on Eunikiou Street near the Mediterranean University of Crete in Heraklion, posing a life-threatening danger to motorcyclists and pedestrians due to its size and depth. According to cretapost.gr, unknown individuals placed a cardboard sign to warn drivers and pedestrians about the pothole. Reports indicate that the responsible authorities have not yet acted to fill the pothole and resolve the issue. Thus, the large cardboard warning remains at the site.
