Heraklion: Explosion in an airplane at the airport just before flying to England

According to patris.gr, the explosion was probably caused by powerbank and electronic cigarette within a passenger bag, on the plane that was to depart from Heraklion Airport for England. Fortunately there was no injury. However, the flight was reportedly cancelled and held on Wednesday, September 18. As expected, there was a major mobilisation of competent authorities at Heraklion Airport. The officials are tasked with investigating the incident.
