Heraklion: 45-Year-Old Tourist Dies After Falling from Hotel Balcony

After several days of intensive care in a hospital, the 45-year-old tourist who fell from a balcony on May 19th in Heraklion’s Chersonesos area, unfortunately, passed away. The man, originally from Poland, succumbed to his severe injuries on Friday evening (May 30th, 2025). Following his fall from the second-floor balcony of a hotel in Heraklion, he suffered critical head injuries. Reports indicate that the 45-year-old was intoxicated at the time of the incident. Despite the doctors’ best efforts, the unfortunate Polish man, who was a father to a minor child, could not survive and took his last breath.
