Train traffic on the Upper Liosia – Loutrópyrgos line was suspended late Wednesday evening (02.07.2025) due to a fire near the Aspropyrgos area, close to the railway tracks. According to Hellenic Train, following an order from the Fire Department and OSE, rail traffic was halted from 9:15 PM until further notice. As a result, trains 2305 with 30 passengers and 2303 with 55 passengers were stopped at the Nea Peramos Station, while trains 2302 with 115 passengers and 2304 with 45 passengers remained at the Upper Liosia Station. To assist affected passengers, Hellenic Train has arranged bus services.
