Helen Topaloudi: One of her killers will pay 905,000 euros to her relatives as compensation

The Court of First Instance awarded compensation of EUR 905,000 to its relatives from one convicted person, who at the age of 19 was one of the two who murdered her. The court recognized the deep mental distress and unsurpassed pain to Helen’s relatives Topaloudi after her brutal murder in Rhodes that had shocked everyone. CORVERSE According to the court’s decision as stated by dimikratiki.gr the alien killer and rapist must pay the following amounts: -240,000 euros to the father, John Topaloudis. 240,000 euros to mother, Sunday Armutidou. ADVERSE – 200,000 euros to her brother. – 100,000 euros to her grandmother. – 100,000 euros to her grandfather’s heirs. – 25,000 euros each of her uncles. The decision was provisionally enforceable, ensuring the immediate restoration, even partially, of the plaintiffs. The crime occurred in the Lindus Pines of Rhodes in November 2018 where the two perpetrators methodically performed their heinous acts. Student Helen Topaloudis was the victim of group rape and attempted homicide, performed in a calm mental state by the perpetrators. According to the conviction, the two perpetrators first raped and tortured Helen for three hours, then tried to clean up the crime scene and eventually moved her to an isolated location. There, she was thrown alive from a cliff into the sea, causing her death by drowning, while she was already heavily injured and in semi-chemical condition. The perpetrators were indiscriminately sentenced, after rejecting their appeal, to life imprisonment for homicide and 15 years in prison. They have not been identified with any mitigating effects.
