Payments to suppliers under the ‘I’m Replacing My Heating System and Water Heater’ programme have officially begun today, 30 June 2026, as announced by Greece’s Ministry of Environment and Energy. The initiative aims to actively support the domestic market, local businesses, and the smooth nationwide implementation of the scheme.
First Payments Cover Over 6,270 Vouchers
The initial disbursements cover more than 6,270 vouchers redeemed by suppliers in November and December 2025 — amounting to €6.29 million, inclusive of VAT. Payments will continue progressively for all redeemed vouchers, processed in chronological order based on submission date.
Direct Bank Transfers Ensure Efficiency
In line with the ministry’s commitment to consistency and speed, funding is being released directly into the bank accounts registered by participating suppliers. This approach reinforces both household energy upgrades and the vital role of businesses in delivering the programme across Greece.
