Heartfelt Goodbyes for Young Friends Who Lost Their Lives in Sparta Tragedy

Family and friends said their final farewells to two of the three victims of the tragic car accident that occurred on Friday evening (March 7, 2025) on the provincial road near Mystras. The funerals of the two young friends were deeply moving, while the funeral of the third member of the group, 21-year-old Giorgos, is expected to take place on Monday in Athens. The pain over the loss of these young lives is palpable as the community around Sparta struggles to come to terms with the tragedy. The funerals of the two victims, Sokrates and Panagiotis, were held in Mystras and Amaliada respectively.
