Harris Romas: “They were looking for me panicking and finally saw me begging next to a beggar”

He told a story from his childhood that he remembers until today. The day he ran away from home and found himself next door to a beggar. Harry Romas gave another interview with ERT, in which he spoke among others about a stranger in many incidents, since his childhood. In the show “Mom-s” he made a flashback in the past and shared a small story from the beggar who met one day on the street and made him review a lot in his life. “My mother told me about the “unpretentiousness” I had done with a beggar who was sitting on a street corner with her hand spread out and asking for charity. This image made a very big impression to me,” Harry Roma originally said. “I asked my mother what this is and why this lady is sitting there. She told me she had no money, she has a big problem living, and that’s why they give her some money. And they give her to eat. After one day I disappeared from home. They started looking for me. Panics went out on the streets looking for me and suddenly they see me the corner of the street next to this lady with me laying out my hand. I said I’m helping the lady eat mom,” Harry Roma said about the memory of his childhood. Harry Romas at the age of 25 married a fellow student and their marriage lasted two years. Instead of a doctor, he chose to become an actor and studied acting art initially at the Katseli Drama School and the Upper Drama School of the Art Theatre “Carolos Kun”.
