According to the Samen News Agency, which is affiliated with Hamas, Abdel Latif al-Qano was killed in an aerial assault by Israel in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. On February 5, Abdel Latif al-Qano had condemned U.S. President Trump’s proposal for taking control of the Gaza Strip and forcibly relocating Palestinians living there outside the Palestinian enclave, criticizing what he called the ‘racist American stance aligned with the Israeli far-right for the displacement of our people and the erasure of our cause.’
