Gunfire Targeted at Iraqi Consulate in Istanbul, No Casualties Reported

Armed individuals riding a motorcycle fired eight shots towards the Iraqi consulate in Istanbul, causing no casualties or material damage, according to Turkey’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson. “Tonight, individuals riding a motorcycle opened fire against the general consulate of Iraq. There are no human losses, nor any material damage,” stated Onju Ketseli regarding the gunfire incident in Istanbul. The representative added that investigations by security services are ongoing, and efforts are underway to identify the perpetrators. He also assured that “those responsible will be brought to justice.”
