A shocking case of a group rape involving a 14-year-old girl has sent waves of outrage across Greece. The incident, which occurred late Tuesday night in Keratsini, Piraeus, is being described as a horrifying betrayal of trust and an alarming example of how vulnerable minors can be when manipulated online. According to a witness testimony reported by Live News on July 4, 2025, what began as an innocent TikTok conversation turned into a nightmare for the young student.
The witness revealed that the attackers had meticulously planned the crime. ‘They had planned it. You don’t invite a child into your home unless there’s an intention. This was a premeditated gang rape,’ the source explained. The girl initially sat with two men in the living room before heading to the bathroom, where she was trapped until two more perpetrators arrived. She was then left alone briefly, only to be joined later by all four men who allegedly abused her throughout the night.
The events unfolded after the girl exchanged messages with a 16-year-old boy on TikTok, who reportedly pressured her to run away from home. The messages became increasingly coercive, with the boy painting a fantasy world where she wouldn’t have to attend school or study. Exploiting her naivety and sheltered upbringing, the perpetrators manipulated her into leaving her house under the cover of darkness.
“She placed pillows under her blanket like they do in movies,” said the witness. “She’s a simple girl who studies, plays sports, and doesn’t wander aimlessly. She comes from a protective family environment but was targeted by predators who know how to persist.”
When the girl’s mother discovered her missing the next morning, panic set in. The victim was eventually found by police outside the house—traumatized, disoriented, and too frightened to return home due to threats made against her and her family.
“She was sitting there like a lost soul,” the witness added. “They told her if she spoke out, they’d make her go crazy and hurt her family. That’s why she didn’t go back.”
The girl was escorted home by police, where a child psychologist awaited her. Medical examinations confirmed the brutality of the ordeal, leaving both doctors and investigators deeply disturbed.
“How will this child recover? How will she live now?” a relative asked. “How can society help her? Her parents, who already have six children, are trying to hold themselves together to support her through therapy and whatever else is needed.”
Meanwhile, legal proceedings are underway. The lawyer of one of the accused, a 16-year-old, claims the act was consensual, sparking further controversy. ‘We’re dealing with minors, and the circumstances surrounding this story are tragic,’ said attorney Manolis Anastasakis. ‘The girl wanted to leave her home, according to messages we’ve seen, because she was suffering.’
The defendants are expected to face trial on Monday.
