The brutal scene inside the apartment where the 14-year-old student was allegedly gang-raped is being investigated by the Juvenile Protection Directorate. According to recent developments following the arrest of two brothers, an 18-year-old member of the group was arrested yesterday afternoon, and later turned himself in. Authorities now have all four individuals involved in the rape case that occurred in Keratsini. It appears they are close friends who knew the minor and lured her through TikTok to commit the crime.
According to preliminary investigations, after the underage girl left home without her parents’ consent, she met with one of the suspects—whom she knew—and he then took her to his friend’s house in Keratsini. There, the 16-year-old and 17-year-old arrived, and along with the 18-year-old—who had narcotics in his possession—they consumed drugs before committing the sexual assault. The 16-year-old, 17-year-old, and 18-year-old took turns forcing the girl into sexual acts under physical coercion while the 20-year-old was present inside the apartment.
Upon leaving the apartment, the 18-year-old suspect threatened the victim, warning her that harm would come if she revealed what happened. The girl’s mother reported the rape to the police on Wednesday morning, and the investigation was handed over to the Juvenile Protection Directorate. The two teenage brothers were soon apprehended within the statute of limitations for flagrant crimes. Notably, the 16-year-old resisted arrest and attacked the officers.
In the early hours of Thursday, a team of police officers conducted a search at the apartment with the assistance of specialized teams. According to investigators, the most disturbing detail is that the suspects believed their threats would silence the girl permanently. They acted with indifference and cruelty, leaving her to wander alone in Piraeus until police located her.
Medical reports confirm the girl was raped and show bruises on her neck and arms. Although she cannot identify how many assaulted her, testimonies suggest three of the four perpetrators sexually abused her consecutively while the fourth observed.
