Group changes name to not be associated with the Islamic State

The Isis Pharmaceuticals renamed Ionis Pharmaceuticals, stated the group in a Press release issued. “We decided to change the name of our group because when the world sees or hears our name, we want to connect us with the drugs we manufacture, which save lives,” said the general director of the Lynn Πάρσαλ in a Press release.
After the change of name of the group, the shares of the group are listed in the index of Nasdaq— will now have a distinctive title the acronym IONS.
