Green light for Gigabit – The Ministerial Decision to join the Recovery Fund was adopted

In the Recovery Fund, the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, Nikos Papathanasis the Gigabit – involved the voucher grant to natural persons and small- and medium-sized enterprises to obtain a broadband high-speed connection in – by decision. The implementation of the Gigabit subsidy programme (Gigabit Voucher Scheme) is only available for viewing the coupons already issued and/or redeemed. The SFBB (Superfast Broadband) action provides a high-speed internet connection to local residents where private investments develop infrastructure capable of providing such services. Citizens can choose themselves with a voucher (voucher) and according to your needs the services you are interested in and the telecommunications provider that provides them. Beneficiaries of the programme shall be natural persons and small and medium-sized enterprises, if cumulatively: they fall, where appropriate, either within the scope of Regulation (EU) Commission Regulation (EU) No 1407/2013 of 18 December 2013 on the application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union to de minimis aid (L 352) or to the scope of Commission Regulation (EU) No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain categories of aid to be compatible with the internal market pursuant to Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty (L 187), fulfil the conditions and conditions specified in paragraph 6 of this Regulation, as well as all the conditions of Regulation (EU) No 1307/2013 1407/2013, and reside, in the case of natural persons, or have their headquarters, in the case of small and medium-sized enterprises, in buildings located in areas covered by super-high-speed networks, and do not have a broadband connection at a download speed of more than 100 Mbps, respecting the specific terms and conditions laid down in paragraph 6 of this Decision. Each beneficiary, after being authenticated with the personal codes – credentials of the General Secretariat for Information Systems and Digital Governance of the Ministry of Digital Governance (taxisnet), enters the electronic platform, which is accessible through the Single Digital Portal of Public Administration (gov.gr-EPSP) and which is developed, maintained and managed by the M.A.C.E. and is requested to issue the check. M.A.C. carry out a check on compliance with the conditions for participation in the programme and, if they are fulfilled, issue the check in the name of the beneficiary. Beneficiaries, after issuing the check, may use it in order to obtain a broadband super-high-speed connection by choosing between the approved offers of the electronic communications providers participating in the programme. Electronic communications providers shall, after activation of the service, receive the amount of the check in accordance with the most specific conditions and conditions laid down in the Joint Decision of paragraph 6 of this Article.
