Greek Olympians Honored by Hellenic Armed Forces Athletic Council

Miltos Tentoglou, Leventis Petrounias, Anna Korakaki, and Stefanos Doukos attended the annual award ceremony of the Supreme Council of Armed Forces Sports (ASAED). Having achieved greatness in Greek sports with Olympic gold medals, these athletes now hold esteemed positions within the armed forces. They were present at ASAED dressed in the uniforms of reserve officers. Petrounias, known as the ‘lord of rings,’ shared photos from the event on social media, showcasing the athletes in their military attire. The caption read, ‘Quartet of officers in the Greek Olympic committee for the annual ASAED award.’ These four athletes have secured Olympic gold medals for Greece.
