This syndicate, which includes production facilities in Chalkida and protection rackets in nightlife spots, remains largely unscathed. They also engage in money laundering through real estate purchases and employ hitmen to eliminate competitors. Recent high-profile killings, such as the execution of a key Greek Mafia member in January 2024, are believed to be connected to this organization. Authorities are struggling to dismantle the group due to its resilient structure, reminiscent of the Lernaean Hydra.
