The Hellenic Republic’s six-month government bonds were issued at a marginal increase in yield, the Public Debt Management Agency (PDMA) — known in Greek as ΟΔΔΗΧ — announced. In the latest auction of 26-week bills totaling €400 million, the weighted average yield settled at 2.24%, up from 2.21% in the previous auction.

Total bids submitted amounted to €1.078 billion — more than 2.7 times the amount offered — reflecting strong investor demand. The auction was conducted through Primary Dealers, with settlement scheduled for Friday, 26 June 2026.

Competitive bids up to the full €400 million allotment were accepted, along with non-competitive bids totaling €100 million. An additional round of non-competitive bids will be accepted on Thursday, 25 June 2026. No commission is charged on these transactions.

So far in 2026, the Greek government has raised approximately €7.5–8 billion through bond markets, covering nearly 95% of its annual borrowing programme.
