They will face Panathinaikos, who topped the regular season standings. The first round of playoffs features Olympiacos vs Panionios, AEK Betsson vs PAOK in a fierce derby, and Promitheas versus Karditsa. Playoff series are best-of-three, except for the finals which are best-of-five, while third place is decided in a single game. In the playouts, Aries, Lavrio, Kolossos Rodou, and Marousi will compete in a mini-league format to avoid relegation, with Marousi currently in the most precarious position.
