Vaccination: Third dose for 2.1 million citizens

With more than 6 million vaccines against the coronavirus and boosting the public’s persuasion campaign through scientists, the country is preparing for the difficult winter months of the pandemic.

The construction of a solid and high immune wall continues with the vaccinations of the first dose – about 25,000 new appointments are closed daily – while the next 15 days will begin the administration of the repeated (third) dose of mRNA vaccines to about 2.1 million citizens.

The government, having adequate vaccines and the green light from the National Vaccination Committee to give a booster dose to vulnerable groups, as well as their prioritization, immediately launches both the shielding of unvaccinated citizens and the additional coverage of the immunocompromised and the elderly.
