The Greek Ministry of Development is launching the National Resilience Gateway, a new digital platform designed to strengthen the operational resilience of Greek businesses. The initiative provides free access to tools, educational resources, self-assessment services, and practical guidance tailored to companies of all sizes.
A Collaborative Public Initiative
The project is being implemented in partnership with the European Public Law Organization (EPLO), following a formal program agreement published on 10 July 2026 in Greece’s transparency portal, Diavgeia. The agreement unlocks institutional support for businesses by making resilience-building resources widely accessible through this centralized digital hub.
What the Platform Offers
The National Resilience Gateway serves as a comprehensive knowledge center focused on operational resilience. It covers key thematic areas including regulatory compliance—particularly ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) standards and the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)—cybersecurity, crisis management, business continuity, and risk governance.
A core feature is an interactive Resilience Readiness Level self-assessment tool. Through it, businesses can evaluate their current preparedness and receive personalized reports with actionable improvement roadmaps.
Beyond Static Information
Unlike traditional informational portals, the Gateway is designed as a dynamic, evolving platform that supports continuous improvement. Its aim is to help enterprises adapt proactively—and strategically—to rapidly changing economic, regulatory, and environmental conditions.
It also aspires to become a foundational policy instrument: nationally scalable, development-oriented, and capable of enhancing the overall readiness and resilience of Greece’s productive sector.
Three Pillars of Implementation
The project unfolds across three main workstreams:
- Development of studies and educational material;
- Organization of seminars and training programs to disseminate expertise;
- Design, development, and maintenance of the digital platform itself.
Funding and Timeline
The initiative has a total budget of €3 million, funded under Greece’s National Development Programme (NDP 2021–2025). It is scheduled for completion by 29 November 2027, with possible extension.
Financing will be disbursed in three tranches: a 50% advance, a 40% payment upon verified progress, and a final 10% upon project completion.
Of the total budget:
- €1.932 million supports training and knowledge transfer;
- €624,000 funds scientific and educational content development;
- €324,000 is allocated to the technological platform’s design and upkeep.
According to the agreement’s preamble, the Ministry of Development aims to bolster Greek businesses’ adaptability in the face of contemporary challenges—including geopolitical and energy crises, climate change, and digital transformation—by leveraging EPLO’s legal and technical expertise.
