Greece’s Ministry of Development is launching the National Resilience Gateway, a new digital platform designed to strengthen the operational resilience of Greek businesses. The initiative provides free access to tools, educational resources, self-assessment services, and practical guidance tailored to companies of all sizes.
A Collaborative Public Initiative
The project is being implemented in partnership with the European Public Law Organization (EPLO), following a formal program agreement published on Friday, 10 July 2026, in Greece’s official transparency portal, Diavgeia. The agreement unlocks institutional support for businesses by making resilience-building resources readily available through this centralized digital hub.
Comprehensive, Interactive Support
The National Resilience Gateway aims to serve as a national knowledge center on business resilience. It covers key thematic areas including regulatory compliance (such as ESG standards and the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive – CSRD), cybersecurity, crisis management, business continuity, and risk governance.
A core feature is an interactive Resilience Readiness Level self-assessment tool. Through it, each company can evaluate its current level of preparedness and receive a personalized report with a step-by-step improvement roadmap.
Beyond Static Information
Unlike traditional informational portals, the Gateway functions as a dynamic, evolving platform for continuous improvement. It empowers businesses to adapt proactively and strategically to emerging challenges—including geopolitical and energy crises, climate change, and digital transformation—while supporting the broader competitiveness and stability of Greece’s productive sector.
Three-Pronged Implementation
The project unfolds across three main pillars:
- Development of studies and educational material;
- Organization of seminars and training programs to disseminate expertise;
- Design, development, and maintenance of the digital platform itself.
The total budget stands at €3 million, funded under Greece’s National Development Programme (NDP 2021–2025). The project is scheduled for completion by 29 November 2027, with possible extension.
Funding will be disbursed in three tranches: a 50% advance payment, a 40% disbursement upon verified progress, and a final 10% upon project completion. The largest share—€1.932 million—is allocated to training and knowledge transfer activities; €624,000 supports the creation of scientific and educational content; and €324,000 funds the technological infrastructure of the platform.
