Foreign Minister: Greek ambassador to Pakistan travels to Kabul to assist in release efforts

In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said it had instructed the Greek ambassador to Islamabad to travel to Kabul to assist in the efforts to free people of Greek interest.

The relevant announcement states:

“Our Ambassador to Islamabad, by order of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, is expected to go, provided that the security conditions allow it, to Kabul, in order to meet on the spot the efforts to free people of Greek interest.

At the same time, our Embassies in the EU member states and Washington were instructed, as requested by European partners and the USA, to provide all possible assistance to the Greek Ambassador from their Embassies on the ground “.
