(Title) Recommendations at 10 private post-secondary education schools did the Consumer Ombudsman for misleading advertising regarding their name and the type of study parechoun.Oi businesses were transferred also the Consumer Ombudsman Ev. Gervais Ministers of Education in Learning and Religious A. Diamantopoulou and Economic Competitiveness and the Marine Avenue Katseli for sanctions.
According to the results of research were identified:
* Four schools, which violate the legislation on public visibility and name. Specifically, the Hellenic American University and American University of Athens directly contrary to the law themselves as “universities”. Also, the Athens College in Athens, like the Global College in Crete, false and misleading themselves as “colleges”, since it never had the same authorization to establish and operate the college.
* Five schools, which advertise academic collaborations with foreign institutions at providing undergraduate and / or graduate study, without being authorized to establish Centre for post-secondary education. These schools are: Thace, Greek Management Association (HMA), Greek Centre Focusing, Attic College in Athens, as well as the Minoan International College in Crete.
* And a school, which does not give precise information on the status of professional recognition of qualifications awarded. This is the American University of Athens.
