Notable absences have emerged from the newly announced cabinet reshuffle by government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis on Friday morning (14.3.25). For the first time since 2019, when ND came into power, Christos Staiouras is out of the government, having served as Minister of Finance and Minister of Infrastructure and Transport. Additionally, former Minister of Migration and Asylum Nikos Panagiotopoulos and former Minister of Environment and Energy Theodoros Skylakakis are also left out of the new government structure. Christos Stylianiadis, the former Minister of Shipping, is also no longer part of the cabinet. Departures include Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Vassilis Economou, Deputy Minister of Migration Sophia Voultepsi, Deputy Minister of Environment and Energy Alexandra Sdouka, former Deputy Ministers of Education Zetta Makri and Ioanna Lytrivi, and former Deputy Minister of Social Cohesion and Family Katerina Papakosta. Notably, Deputy Minister of Labor Panos Tsakloglou and Deputy Minister of Development Anna Mani-Papadimitriou are no longer in the government.
