Glyfada: Mobile and social media lead to new identifications for beating 14 year old

In two arrests and a child identification that participated in the 14-year-old savage in , police have moved on, while authorities continue to search the cell phones of the two teenagers arrested. Teenagers who have been arrested are two classmates of the 14-year-old who seem to have participated in her beating in Glyfada. Newssit.gr reports that authorities are investigating their mobile phones, as the “hit” against the 14-year-old was organized via social media from fellow students of the girl. It is noted that, as shown in the video, the girl is beaten while many children look unwittingly. It is speculated that teenagers gathered at the site through a closed social media group to see the 14-year-old ruthlessly beat her peer. Now the police expect the results of the competent agency to identify how many were involved in the closed group for beating the 14-year-old and how many of them were found Saturday night (21.9.2024) in Glyfada, and participated in the wild episode either by hitting the young student, or simply watching without reacting. Police spokesperson, Constantia Demoglidos, noted that two 14-year-old classmates of the girl were first arrested along with their parents in the framework of the autophore. Everyone was released on a prosecutor’s order. Mrs. Demoglidou noted that she has also identified a 16-year-old student who participated in the beating of the minor.
