Giannis Zouganelis: ‘I Like Artists Who I Feel Aren’t Very Good People’

In a recent interview on the show Asteroskoni with Nicos Gritzis and Stefania Gatsakou, renowned Greek artist Giannis Zouganelis opened up about his views on artists’ characters. He mentioned, “Generally, the concept of greatness or magnificence should also mean being a good person. However, I forgive those who can’t balance psychologically. I forgive these ones.” Continuing, he stated, “I also like artists who I feel aren’t very good people; I can’t expose them. One of them is my mentor.” Despite this, Zouganelis emphasized that he identifies with the kindness of people.
