Germany: Call for sparing energy consumption by the end of winter

Call for moderate consumption was made by the head of her Federal Network Service, Klaus Miller. Storage facilities are still well stocked, about 80%. “This means we are well equipped for the next three months”. According to the report, industry recorded an increase of nine percent per month from October to December compared to the previous year, while the increase in households and trade was significantly lower than 1.9%. The first half of winter was slightly colder than in 2023, with an average temperature of 6.5 degrees, 0.6 degrees lower than that of the previous year, according to the report.
