The trial of Georgia Bika has once again been postponed regarding the incident that occurred on Sunday night (23.03.2025) in Thessaloniki. Georgia Bika was driving her car on Delphion Street when she first collided with a motorcycle and then hit a parked car. Upon arriving at the scene, police officers found that the 27-year-old had consumed a large amount of alcohol and proceeded to arrest her. The postponement of the trial came after a request from Georgia Bika’s defense attorney, who sought confirmation of material damages and additional information from the victim. Furthermore, there will be an evaluation of the breathalyzer test due to significant discrepancies between the two readings taken. The first reading reportedly measured 1.16 mg/l of exhaled air using an electronic breathalyzer device, while the second reading showed 0.70 mg/l. The 27-year-old was arrested and brought before the prosecutor for questioning, leading to charges of dangerous driving and driving under the influence. It is worth noting that Georgia Bika had previously claimed to be a victim of sexual assault during a New Year’s party at a hotel in Thessaloniki in 2022, a case that was eventually closed. Legal action was pursued against her and four other individuals for alleged kidnapping, unlawful violence, bodily harm, harassment, and violation of personal data concerning a kidnapping case reported by the alleged organizer of the New Year’s event in 2022, during which the 26-year-old claimed she was sexually assaulted.
