He talked about cases that have shocked him. He singled out the train accident in Tempes, which sank into mourning the entire country. George Liagas remains at the helm of the show “The Breakfast” on ANT1 and gives with his associates the battle for the top in ratings. He said issues don’t allow smiles many times. He stressed that although some may be disturbed, he has decided to speak his truth and through his words to be judged. The presenter did not hesitate to say that as long as he does this job he will fight to get the truth out of the light while this case has shocked him. He also mentioned the comments he has received from time to time with some people calling him… a laughingstock. “It’s been 22 months. Every time I mention it, I get creepy. It’s the issue that haunts me, as is the death of the children then in Tempe again. I have promised until I have finished my career telling my truth, even if the above ones are disturbed,” said George Liagas. At another point he said: “We are accused of not laughing here in the morning zone. Hey, I can’t laugh, guys, what do I do now? To the extent that the news is this, what are you laughing at? Go out and laugh? You must also have a conscience of who you are, where you live and frankly I’ve been doing all these years and I still do – when I have the ability to highlight these issues, I prefer to show them up and go out and laugh and one and two hours in the morning here. That’s my truth, what to tell you.”
