Gaza: Over 900 trucks with humanitarian aid arrived in the region

The truce in is a fact and over 900 trucks arrived at me yesterday (20.01,2025) in the area number higher than that defined in the ceasefire agreement implemented from the previous Sunday, according to the figures announced by the UN. ” Humanitarian aid continues to enter the Gaza Strip as part of the prepared increase in aid to survivors. Today, 915 trucks passed to Gaza, according to the information received from the Israeli authorities and guarantors of the ceasefire agreement” (Katar, Egypt, USA), the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reported. ADVERSE Last Sunday, first day of implementation of the ceasefire agreement, the UN spoke of the entry of 630 trucks, 300 of which were destined for the northern part of the Gaza Strip, as more than 2 million inhabitants of the small Palestinian enclave are facing a disastrous humanitarian situation. The UN has not ceased to denounce for months the obstacles to the entry and distribution of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, after more than 15 months of war between the Israeli army and Hamas. In the first phase of the 42-day truce agreement, there is expected to be a massive distribution of aid to the seafront enclave under siege, allowing 600 trucks to enter each day.
