The disturbing messages between one of the perpetrators and the 14-year-old girl who was gang-raped in Keratsini have been revealed by newsit.gr. These texts show how the suspect encouraged the minor to lie to her family and leave home late at night, ultimately leading to the horrific crime. According to reports, the girl had met the 18-year-old suspect through TikTok, but they had known each other for some time prior. In the days before the incident, the suspect repeatedly urged her to deceive her parents, instructing her to say she was spending the night at a friend’s house. In one message, he wrote: ‘Tell them you’re going to your friend’s because she isn’t feeling well. I’ll come pick you up, we can talk about your problems, and tomorrow we can do whatever you want.’ In another exchange, he told her: ‘I want to see you now, don’t worry about anything. If anyone asks where you were, just say you were at your friend’s house.’ The two later arranged to meet near a kiosk close to an elementary school with green railings. The meeting eventually led the girl to the suspect’s home in Keratsini, where three of his friends allegedly raped her in a brutal attack. After the assault, the traumatized teen wandered the streets of Piraeus for hours before being found by police officers from the DIAS unit. She was taken to the Child’s House in Piraeus, where she gave a statement in the presence of a psychological expert. The entire process was recorded audiovisually to avoid forcing the girl to testify directly in court and relive the trauma.
