See this post on Instagram. CORVERSE In detail what Kostas Galanopoulos wrote in his post: “After a lifetime, the time of farewell has come. Hard thing to leave your family. Your heart group. But at some point the crew of time arrives and you are forced to make difficult decisions. I’ve said it many times. AEK is everything to me. I was born AEK as my father was a team fan. I came as a child to the academies and managed to make all my dreams come true with Biceps in the chest. I celebrated Championships, Cups, played in all European events, managed to become part of the club and live the completion of 100 years of history. I scored important goals and I had wonderful moments. AEK made me a champion on and off the field. I wore the chief’s armband and inside our new field, experiencing incredible emotions that I will never forget in my life. The raised punch in Zagreb for Michael will always tell my story with the team. That’s who I am. Apparently there have been the hard times, but they’re the ones who brought me here and made me the man I am today. That’s life, that’s football. He has his ups and downs. At the end of the day, however, what remains is the love of the world. This love… I want to say a special “thank you” to our team fans who never stopped supporting me. The applause in the first game in New Philadelphia will remain forever engraved within me. I would also like to thank everyone I’ve worked with over the years since I was a child and all the AEK executives we’ve been through all these years with the yellow-blacks. I will miss you.”
